I recently finished my PhD in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from Texas Tech University studying Theatre History/Theory/Criticism and Playwriting.

My dissertation was entitled "Uncovering the Voices: Irish Female Playwrights during the Free State Years" and focused on mid-twentieth cetury Irish women writers who have been left out of the canon.

I also hold my MFA in Creative Writing (playwriting and screenwriting) from Lesley University.

I am both a playwright and theatre history scholar.

I was a 2017-18 US Fulbright Grant awardee and spent 6 months conducting archival research in Galway. Ireland at the James Hardiman Library at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
